Happy Hump Day! We’re almost done with the week, and what better way to help us power through than to take an exciting look at the newest addition to Heidi’s leggings collection? Beyond Black and White is the fourth design of wearable art leggings, directly based off of Heidi’s original paintings. Unlike the other three designs, this one displays a more abstract thought and radiates a totally different vibe. Its colors are also exclusively black and white, which pair perfectly with everything.
The inspiration behind the painting (and the leggings) is described, in Heidi’s own words, as a “free-form, internal painting journal.” From an outsider’s perspective, this design can be described as mysterious yet calming. Beyond Black and White essentially invites the viewer into a contradictory world of chaos and simplicity. It encourages them to explore the details within, which, alone, provide an infinite number of interpretations.
While this pair of leggings is quite a shift in overall content and composition, it, nonetheless, remains true to Heidi’s goal of originality and authenticity.
Beyond Black and White expresses a style that is more universal, that sparks dialogue, and that exhibits excellence. This is something that you definitely want to get your hands on (or legs in, rather… ha ha!)

Deuces,
Katie a.k.a. Intern To (And no, the ‘To’ is not a typo ;) )
Happy Wednesday, everyone! It’s ya girl, Katie.
Today we’re highlighting Heidi’s work Nashville Skyline Series. Through the span of one year, Heidi created a number of paintings (seventeen, to be exact), showcasing the beauty and essence of the central Tennessean town also known as “Nash-Vegas.”
Fun fact: A few of these paintings were literally painted on the side of the road! I can only imagine how crazy that must’ve been. Painting in a studio can sometimes get crazy, depending on how you are as a painter (and I know Heidi isn’t afraid to get messy, ha ha)... But painting outside, on the side of the road as cars and trucks are whippin’ past you, is undoubtedly a whole ‘nother level.
Something I’ve noticed while observing this collection is how well Heidi is able to present a definitive uniqueness within the paintings individually, while also incorporating similar vibes throughout all of them. This, alone, speaks volume about the city and the painter. The ambience of each painting symbolizes the adaptability and versatility of this ever-growing city. Meanwhile, the painter (Heidi [duh!]) has, like I’ve just mentioned, successfully sought out varying nuances from each view, while remaining consistent in capturing the homey, warm spirit of the south. Being able to acknowledge these things and execute it well takes #SKILL.
All-in-all/in conclusion/in short/TL;DR, Heidi’s Nashville Series is original. It’s a beautifully crafted and coherent collection of pieces that highlight the vivacity of Nashville, the (southern) city that never sleeps. :-)

Deuces,
Katie a.k.a. Intern To (And no, the ‘To’ is not a typo ;) )
Good morning, it’s Katie here! I’m currently sitting in the studio, thinking about food… as usual. Ha ha. And I just have to say, don’t you hate it when you accidentally spill a drink or drop food on your clothes, and you know it’s not coming out? Me too!
Now, imagine that, instead of food or drink, you’ve spilled paint on yourself… And it’s intentional… Aanndd you’re wearing a designer dress.
W H A T ?! Who would do such a thing? Well, folks, I can confidently say that Heidi Schwartz would, and *fun fact* she does!
In addition to bringing life and vibrancy to blank canvases, Heidi brilliantly improvises an entirely new, abstract piece onto designer dresses; we’re talking brands that you normally wouldn’t even dare to ruffle!
These new creations are called Paint Dresses, and you can check them out here:

Colorful, creative, and classy — These dresses offer an innovative spin on an already elegant design. Heidi has named each dress after a different country, as a reflection and inspiration from all of the places she’s travelled and the people she’s met during her artistic endeavors. My personal, totally unbiased favorites are “Aland Islands” and “Spain,” which have different vibes but are, nonetheless, beautiful.
Each dress has character and its own “personality,” if you will. Because every one is created during a different event, they each capture the essence of the environment in which they were created. While I haven’t personally seen the process of it all, I feel like watching these dresses seemingly become “destroyed” in person would be shocking. (See a reenactment of my face via old-school emoticon :-O) I mean, I am a painter as well, so I understand that getting paint on clothing is inevitable... BUT there’s a huge difference between getting paint on an old t-shirt and sweatpants versus a Calvin Klein Chiffon Button-Sleeved Dress. You know? But that’s the genius of it all, and I don’t know about y’all, but I am Here. For. It!!!

Deuces,
Katie a.k.a. Intern To (And no, the ‘To’ is not a typo ;)
Hey there! My name is Katie, and I am one of Heidi’s newest interns. I’m finishing up my final semester at Belmont University, where I study Creative & Entertainment Industry and Italian. I’m super stoked to be working with Heidi and the rest of the team, and today I’m writing to share some cool things that are happening in the studio! Two new interns have joined the team (myself, as I’ve just mentioned, and my awesome roommate Alli), and we’ve added some exciting content to the website and Heidi’s art collection, in general. One of the newest products includes our wearable art leggings collection.
You might be thinking, “Okay… so they’re just leggings, right?” Wrong! What’s so special and unique about these leggings is that the designs are based off Heidi’s original artwork. It’s one thing to own a piece of artwork, but it’s even cooler to wear it! Our wearable art leggings take Heidi’s vision of expressionism and impressionism to the next level, as a perfect crossover of three different communities: fashion, fitness, and art. One of our personal favorites is the Fast Nash Nights Leggings, which can be seen in our latest TikTok video here (Simply click the link below ↓):

As an intern (and visual artist), I am constantly being challenged to think outside of the box (or jump… literally… haha) and push any and all artistic boundaries! The workplace environment is such a wonderful place for inspiration and sparking creativity. Every day I spend with Heidi and the team, I learn something new—from marketing and financing, to networking and artistic guidance.
Heidi’s work (live event painting) is something I had never even heard of before meeting her, and it is truly something unique and extraordinary. If you’re like me and aren’t sure what live painting is, either, check out this cute intro about who Heidi is and what exactly she does!
We have a lot of super fun content and ideas brewing, so be sure to stay tuned & keep up with us on here as well as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok (@paintyourevent).
